Highlight it and select the center button. Or, alternatively put it in between center and /center tags. Just don't forget the square brackets.

Aside from the color Red, i'll use the code you've suggested. I think everyone else has theirs set at orange, which seems to be TCO's motif.

Yeah, I tried setting mine at Orange originally but it didn't match whatever color they are using, so I figured I'd use Red, since that's the Rebellion's color. lol

I didn't even realize DarkOrange was a color. Switched and it looks much better than Red.

I'll say this:

I'm still interested in how the game develops, and will be following things as they present themselves...

...but I'm finding the TOR community forums TOTALLY useless at this point. All the spectulation that there could be played out in the first 2 weeks. Everything since is rehash.

There's an almost total absence of bankable official information out there to chew on, so speculating past this point is particularly useless.

The forums are so spammed, what decent threads there ARE there are lost within the first 15 minutes after posting.

I know it's cliche' to reminiss about SWG, but I REALLY miss the pre beta community boards for that game. The community there was much, much smaller. We all knew one another. Discussion was (for the most part) intelligent. Devs where there actively talking with us and listening to us. We were invited, and even expected to do our part in the game's development by adding to the greater conversation.

There's absolutely no shades of SWG's pre-beta glory on the TOR boards. Makes me wonder why they even established a community forum -- if there was more official information to chew on, maybe. But as it stands now, I'm finding the boards absolutely useless.

Is anyone else with me on this?

It's why I haven't bothered with the forums at all yet. I'll wait and see if they change, but from how the Devs and community interacted on the Bioware forums before the announcement.. well I don't have high hopes for the community or the developers. I'll get more excited about if we ever hear about the non Jedi/Sith stuff only, otherwise it's just a nest of immature fanbois where true intelligent conversation doesn't happen. I'm surprised Rob hasn't gotten fed up with it yet but I am sure once the newness wears off it will begin to do so.

I haven't posted on it for several days. I haven't really read it, either.

This is partly because of increased workload at work, but also partly because half the people on those forums are borderline retarded and half because, as Sam says, the topics have been pretty much speculated to death already and there's nothing new.

The SWG Pre-Beta forums were unique. They were like a special club that very few people, comparitively speaking, were part of. There were still spammers, and trolls, and Flame Wars, however there were far fewer people there, so the voices of those of us who wanted to be heard were not drowned out.

The SWTOR forums are only this way right not because of the Popularity of MMO's, thanks to WoW, and the popularity of BioWare. This has gotten a lot of press, and in this era, thanks to Magazine articles, etc., we can expect this flood of people to last for 1 1/2 to 2 months from the date they opened the forums. After that we will see the spammers quickly disapate, and those forums will become much more friendly towards us.

In the mean time, I do think there is plenty of good, lively, constructive discussions we can have on those forums. I wish I had the time to organize and direct them myself, however considering some problems I'm having in my personal life right now, my online time outside of work is severely limited. But, I can still try....

This has gotten a lot of press, and in this era, thanks to Magazine articles, etc., we can expect this flood of people to last for 1 1/2 to 2 months from the date they opened the forums. After that we will see the spammers quickly disapate, and those forums will become much more friendly towards us. In the mean time, I do think there is plenty of good, lively, constructive discussions we can have on those forums. I wish I had the time to organize and direct them myself, however considering some problems I'm having in my personal life right now, my online time outside of work is severely limited.
